I didn't know what the plant was on the other side of my garden wall, but it had grown to 13 feet when I took a good look and as far as I could see its leaves looked ominously like those of knotweed. My mind has been put at rest! Its odd-looking green fruit-thingies are those of a Cherry Laurel, which is poisonous, but doesn't undermine my garden wall, house or anything else. Much gratitude to Phlorum for the reassurance, which arrived very fast.

I had concerns that a relative's property had Knotweed growing in a couple of places, and emailed a picture to Phlorum.Within 10mins Paul had emailed back with an explanation of why the plant in question could not be knotweed, and even told me what he thought it could be.After a quick google image search, it turned out that Paul was entirely correct, and the plant was Himalayan honeysuckle!Mind very much put at ease, and the service - even though he knew I wasn't in need of their paid services - was exceptional

As a damp and timber surveyor it can be very disconcerting to have to report back to the client that there are strange growths emanating from the subfloor voids, particularly when the growth resembles Knotweed, but you cant quite be certain. Having seen an article on a tv programme about Japanese Knotweed, we became a little concerned about a fast growing plant growing from a neighbours garden. Neither the neighbour or their gardener/handyman knew what it was. As invited on Phlorum’s website, I emailed to request an ID on a plant our current neighbours had added as a property line privacy enhancement ahead of my husband and I purchasing our home next to them. A year later, they were told they’d planted Japanese Knotweed. Paul responded to my initial inquiry within 24 hours with an accurate ID of Fleece Flower - a plant that is non-invasive and non-aggressive in its growing habits. My property boundary has been engulfed by a rapid growing plant. I was concerned it was Japanese Knotweed. I tried to identify myself but was unable to be certain. When googling I cam across Phlorum, and used their free identification services. They identified it as Russian Vine, which was a relief to me and I'm grateful of their honesty . Excellent service and very quick to identify. I was signposted to their website with some useful information. many thanks.

Found these guys with a random google search trying to identify some weeds I have, concerned if it was knotweed. Mind you, I am in the US and they are almost directly north of Omaha beach! They are in Great Britain!No matter where we both are, I got an answer (it wasn't knotweed!) within 24 hours, and an interesting conversation as well.Nice job, helping out a Yank! Thank you Phlorum!! Well done, and I'll look you up next time I find myself over on your side of the pond and buy the staff a pint!

I found a plant that looked suspiciously like Japanese Knot Weed and I looked on the internet and found Phlorum. Their website was first rate and they offered a service whereby I could upload a picture of the offending plant and they would identify it for me.I did that and almost by return Paul had identified it as a close relation to JKW but was intact a non invasive cousin. Paul was so helpful, professional and fast that I got the issue sorted out in a matter of an hour.I would certainly recommend them to anyone
