Spring at last!

Spring springs

Now that Spring is definitely underway and everything is looking new and fresh, lots of small young creatures are appearing, some in the house where the cat has deposited them! Even tadpoles in the ponds have arrived. The weather isn’t exactly predictable but at least we are having a few warm days – hopefully a good Bank Holiday.

Kieran, who first joined us as a Shell Step student during the summer holidays of his penultimate year at Cambridge and then returned following his graduation, has just left us to go traveling around South America. He’s bound to have a wonderful time and we’re all jealous… Never mind; there are lots of interesting projects starting soon that will keep us all occupied!

April snow ride

Riding on the South Downs in a good four inches of snow this last weekend. A very odd sensation, now that the clocks have moved forward and recently it has been feeling much closer to summer than it has been in ages. Weird…
