An estimated 1.8 million residences and 140,000 commercial properties (assets worth £250 billion) are at risk of flooding in the UK.

Under Government planning policy statement (PPS25), the susceptibility of land to flooding is now a material planning consideration. As a result, it is unlikely that developments will gain approval from the Environment Agency/SEPA without a detailed Flood Risk Assessment (FRA) being carried out.

Phlorum can provide FRAs and offer advice and guidance on Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS).
